Rockingham es un pueblito a 40 kilómetros al sur de Perth. No hemos explorado mucho, ya que íbamos preparados para disfrutar de un típico día de playa. Había muchísimos pescadores, aficionados, muchas familias enganchadas a la caña, sacando peces uno detrás de otro. Estaban por todos lados: en el muelle, en la misma arena de la playa y en el cabo Peron. El cabo Peron no tiene faro, pero está lleno de calitas en las que sólo se oye el vaivén de las olas.
Rockingham is a city 40 kms south-west of Perth. We were more ready to enjoy a warm autumn beach day than be tourists. I’ve been impressed by the amount of people and families fishing, everywhere. They caught big ones and I could see the fish in the ocean from the jetty. Close to Rockingham there is the Cape Peron, a nice spot full of small bays where you only listen the rolling waves.
